THE RETURN by Håkan Nesser, read by Simon Vance
Swedish writer Håkan Nesser crafts another police procedural with Detective Chief Inspector Van Veeteren who does much of his sleuthing about the killing of a murder from a hospital bed. Narrator Vance is facile with the Swedish setting and names, and he thrives with well-written dialogue.
