SWEENEY TODD by Yuri Rasovsky, performed by the Hollywood Theatre for the Ear

A blackly humorous melodrama—famous both as a Victorian tale and as a modern musical—tells the tale of a barber who kills and robs his rich customers. The full cast performance is spirited and entertaining throughout and is punctuated by amusing and well-done songs. Reviewed by Susan Dunman.
