The author himself charms and sings, devastates and dazzles listeners with his narration of his Pulitzer Prize-winning memoir. Even if you've read it in print, the "live" story McCourt presents is an entirely delightful way to enjoy the work. Authors who can read their own work are rare, and McCourt is the best.
